Who and what is the label Uscari that Velvet Fox is bringing direct to you?  We've got a little bio on them down below and a video on their runway show at RAWF 2011.  Pay attention to the dresses and tops that come down the runway as we will be getting some of these.  Think parties, weddings, races - you will be sure to get a second look from admirers!

BIO

Uscari is a break-through label set to challenge the existing tapestry of the fashion scene. For designer Krystel Davis, Uscari was born out of a penchant for the finer things in life. Uscari’s brilliance is not surprising; hailing from a family of fashion entrepreneurs, Davis was introduced to the world of fashion at a young age. Her parents housed one of the largest fashion brands in New Zealand during the 1980s and drew a large following such as the likes of Stevie Nicks. Relying on her gifted genes and a keen eye, Davis offers an exciting dimension of individualism. Uscari is a clever twist on classic and on-trend tailoring, relying heavily on Davis' innate sense of style which is evident in every collection thanks to intricate detailing and unique design. Staying true to her vision, Uscari's look is effortless yet sophisticated -its intrinsic value being afforded through subtleties in every piece. With access to beautiful fabrics from all over the world, Davis has found creative freedom through textile combinations and avant-garde shapes.

We are so unbelievably excited to introduce you to the wonderful, laid back, uncomplicated free flowing label, Lilya in a few weeks to Velvet Fox.  We start you off with Lilya's "Calypso" Spring Collection which brings you fresh prints, cool fabrics and easy styling. 

Lilya was born in 2007 when designer Lisa Chedanne noticed a gap in the market for a designer label that was easy to wear and effortlessly stylish. With experience in retail, buying, wholesale and design aspects of the fashion industry, Chedanne has earned her stripes working for prestigious companies like Belinda, Giorgio Armani and Loewe. Her work has seen her travel the world, attending fashion weeks in Europe and Asia resulting in a sophisticated approach to colour, cut and fit.
